Obituary for Scott R. Zimmerman

Scott R. Zimmerman, II, 33, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at his home.

Scott was born in San Diego, California on December 30, 1983 and was the beginning light in his parents lives. He loved music and studied Recording Arts in Orlando, Florida. He also was a faithful employee of Kaman Aerospace for 5 years in Jacksonville, Florida and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church there. In 2014 he moved to Elizabethtown where he could be closer to his family and had plans to go to California and study Movie Production. He was a very good son and loving brother. A good man to those around him, he liked to help with some local charities, occasionally with his mom.

He will be greatly missed by many people close to him! Heaven has received another beautiful angel!!!

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Vernon Sexton and James and Amy Zehm and an aunt, Carla Joy.

Survivors include his parents, Scott and Tracy Zehm Zimmerman; a brother, Colin Zimmerman; a sister, Brandi Barbeau (Jean-Guy); aunts and uncles, Cheryl and Bobby Rockwell, Bee and Kirby Cale, Cindy and Tom Jobe and Mike and Susan Zimmerman.

A memorial service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Elizabethtown with Rev. Monty Gleitz officiating.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday at the church.

Expressions of Sympathy make take the form of contributions to the family so they can give to the appropriate charities.

Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home of Elizabethtown is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
