Obituary for Freddie William George

Freddie William George, 73, of Elizabethtown passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at his residence, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sonora, a retired production worker for Gates Rubber, a member of the Hardin County Fair Squares and the Kentucky Heartland Cloggers and a Vietnam veteran of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chriss A. and Lottie M. George; a brother, Charles George and a niece, Elizabeth Diane Price.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Gray George; two brothers, Donald George (Wilma) and Chester George (Penny); a sister, Rosalee George and several nephews and nieces including a special niece, Donna George Keene (David).
Funeral services will be 11AM Friday, January 4, 2019, at Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Carson and Bro. Roger McGuffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8PM Thursday, January 3, 2019, and after 9AM Friday at the funeral home.
